We are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our client's reputable team.
**The Role**
You will be responsible for maintaining workers compensation benefits, administer workers compensation leave and pay through the payroll system along with delivering case management services for workplace injuries.
**About You**
You will be an experienced Payroll Officer ideally with experience in workers compensation maintenance. If you aren't experienced with worker's compensation, you will be proficient with SAP HR master data.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Administer workers compensation entitlements through the payroll system
- Claims administration
- Provide support and advice to staff in accordance with legislation
- Review and reconcile workers compensation leave
- Prepare and participate in regular claims reviews
- Provide advice to stakeholders and manage the case through to completion
**Key Requirements**
- Proven payroll experience
- Familiarity with processing workers comp entitlements preferred
- Proven payroll system experience
- Strong and effective communication skills
