**your opportunity**

Based at Kingston and working with the Social Enterprises team, this role has responsibility for recruiting participants into the Community Work Skills Program. The Community Work Skills program is designed to support young, disadvantaged job seekers to undertake formal training to gain nationally recognised skills and vocational qualifications. You will support the delivery of employability skills workshops for the participants and will engage with employers to promote and secure employment opportunities.
- Your role will include:

- design and coordinate participant engagement and attraction strategies
- work with young people to identify their employment goals and develop their job plan
- connect participants to specialist support and refer to other services as required
- monitor participants progress in employment
- maintain and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to create and secure employment opportunities

**what we are looking for**

You will have experience working with young people within a case management framework and will enjoy building relationships with employers to secure employment opportunities.
- You will bring:

- passion, commitment and belief in young people
- a solid understanding of the local labour market and barriers faced by unemployed young people
- proven ability to engage and motivate young people and ability to engage with culturally diverse cohorts
- sound knowledge in employment case management
- proficient skills in using technology and systems and administration skills
