HammondCare is a NSW Health Affiliated Health Organisation (AFO) that offers and recognises all NSW Health entitlements.

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity specialising in palliative care, rehabilitation, older persons' mental health, dementia and aged care. Our passion is improving quality of life for people in need. Through our network of sub-acute services HammondCare provides rehabilitation, palliative and supportive care, pain management, mental health care for older people, community care and other vital support services.

**More about the role**:
This role works within HammondCare Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action to provide quality healthcare to patients under supervision, while developing a broad knowledge of the principles and practice of palliative medicine.

**Essential criteria**:

- Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with Medical Board of Australia
- Advanced trainee in any specialty with RACP
- Experience in Palliative Medicine or related specialty with RACP
- Current Driver’s License
- Proven satisfactory clinical performance, supported by submission of two current referees
- Demonstrated sound, effective communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team
- Organisational ability - both personal organisation and ability to supervise others
- Demonstrated compassion and caring attitude.
