**WorkCover Payroll Administration Officer**
- Contribute towards Victoria's new Youth Justice Centre
- Provide WorkCover administration and payroll services
- Be part of a dynamic Safety, Wellbeing & Compliance Team People Safety Culture and Communication.

***The opportunity**
- VPS3 role earning $73,842- $89,661 per year plus super
- Supports payroll administration functions for maintenance of workers' compensation claim weekly payments
- Liaise with the department's injured employees and its insurer regarding payments and entitlements, in a sensitive confidential manner

The WorkCover Payroll Administration Officer is responsible for coordinating the Youth Justice's workers' compensation payments. This will include supporting the administration functions and maintenance of records with respect to workers compensation. The role also assists with calculation of pre-injury average weekly earnings.

The WorkCover Payroll Administration Officer will report to the Senior WorkCover Payroll Advisor and will engage with a wide variety of stakeholders to ensure best practice is delivered and maintained. This role will require a high level of customer service skills and autonomous decision making. Ongoing support and training will be provided. This role is based at Cherry Creek Youth Justice precinct with a hybrid working model including working from 121 Exhibition Street as required.

**_ To be successful in the role, you will have _**_experience using human resource information systems (CHRIS21), and experience using Time Target, is strongly desired. Also experience in processing workers compensation payments is strongly desired._**
