**Project Officer (18 month Fixed Term Opportunity)**:

**In this role, you'll**:
Work with our Network and Safety Services team within the Planning and Programs Branch of Transport for NSW with a focus on supporting the development, delivery and implementation of small to medium sized projects in partnership with councils that achieve the desired outcomes for the community, organization, safety improvement, and network requirements.

This role will see you support the team and manage the Traffic Engineering projects that report into the Hiring managers areas that involve the construction of new traffic treatment solutions such as roundabouts and traffic signals. This will see you covering either Eastern Harbour city that covers the Eastern Suburbs through to Ku-ring-gai or the West covering Penrith to Blacktown and Hawkesbury to Wollondilly

**About you**

You’re skilled in written and verbal communication with excellent time management and stakeholder management skills. Also, a Traffic Engineering background and an understanding of the Safe Systems Framework will be an advantage for this role.

Your recognised as having the ability to manage a project from end to end as well as being able to manage multiple project support activities that have tight deadlines and competing demands and priorities.

This will see you involved from start to finish in the transition of legacy traffic solutions to modernised outcomes.

This is an Award USS 7 fixed term full-time role for up to 18 months, within a great team offering some hybrid flexibility from their Parramatta-based office.
