- Setting up parts onto the laminating and slitting machines for minor modifications
- Organise inspection and perform maintenance tasks for machines. utilize lifting equipment for the purpose of maintenance and machine installations.
- Diagnose data in order to ascertain the root cause of the reported fault. Resolving issues for pumps, motors, drives and hydraulic problems.
- Perform equipment installation and commissioning and the documentation requirement within a quality system.
- Ensures that designs and finished work are within the specification and regulations of the organisation.
- Follow safety regulations and keep the workplace tidy and clean.
- Is responsible for the dimensional conformity of the product being made on the line that they are operating.
- Make adjustments to the process within the limits set by the Production Manager.
- The responsibility to inform the Production Manager of any quality problems immediately they occur.
- The responsibility of working in a safe manner and following all safety policies and procedures on-site at all times.
- The responsibility to report any unsafe, hazardous, or environmentally damaging incident to the Production Manager.
- The responsibility to promote and maintain a clean and tidy workplace by following the Housekeeping requirements as set by the Production Manager.
- Responsible to ensure that all required paperwork is filled in correctly and passed on to the appropriate person for processing.
- the responsibility to attend training sessions and complete training required.

**Qualifications and other requirements**

1. Diploma or higher level qualifications or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant field.

2. Recent minimum of two years of relevant experience working as a Mechanical Technician in last five years.

3. A valid driver license with your reliable vehicle.

4. Ability to work independently and without supervision.

5. Ability to work effectively as part of team and provide leadership to a small team.

6. Demonstrate problem-solving skills and experience with diagnostics.

7. Good oral communication skills.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: 29/05/2024
