We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:

- A thorough knowledge of contemporary media and communications practices and dynamics with the proven ability to liaise effectively with media representatives and a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering significant or complex creative services projects within agreed budgets and timeframes, ensuring all output is aligned to strategic priorities.
- Demonstrated experience in animation, videography, production and/or graphic design, managing and delivering creative outputs. This includes experience using contemporary equipment and software within a creative environment.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work in partnership and build and maintain effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to plan and manage the delivery of numerous competing priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in a communication and/or project management context.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and contribute to the positive culture of a team with a track record of maintaining a customer service mentality and supporting all colleagues to succeed.

**Mandatory/Special conditions/Other requirements**:

- This role will be required to travel on official business and the possession of a current QLD drivers' licence is required.
- The ability to travel intrastate by air is required.
- Work outside of normal hours and on-call may be required at times.
- While not mandatory, a tertiary qualification in the communication field (e.g., journalism, public relations, marketing) or demonstrated experience in the media environment will be highly regarded.
- Contemporary professional video and audio editing skills is a requirement.
