**About the role**:
A highly rewarding opportunity to join Box Hill Institute as one of our Allied Health Teachers within our Faculty of Health, Community and Life Sciences.

Within this role you will be providing high quality and innovative course materials and teaching delivery to domestic and international students. You will be delivering planned lessons using a variety of methods including Moodle to engage students and meet their learning styles and needs.

You will have the rewarding opportunity to guide students through their Allied Health courses, supporting their success and improving their employment/education pathways.

The Faculty of Health, Community and Life Sciences delivers nationally recognised training to over 1200 students in courses ranging from Certificates to Diplomas and post graduate programs. Disciplinary areas include nursing, health and community services, animal care and management, biosecurity, horticulture, conservation and land management.
- Please note; this role is a casual opportunity and salary is in line with MEA.**About You**:

- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a qualification at diploma level or higher in Adult Education
- Vocational qualifications in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
- Ability to design and deliver engaging and relevant course materials and lessons
- Experience understanding adult learning principles and ability to utilise learning management systems
- Ability to demonstrate leadership within the classroom; motivate and guide students to optimise their learning outcomes, manage difficult and sensitive topics and questions and identify potential and existing issues and setbacks; working to resolve any issues
- Passionate about knowledge sharing and ability to work within a team, contributing to the positive work environment and culture
- Proven ability to be readily adaptable to changing circumstances within the classroom
- Highly supportive and compassionate with a commitment to continuous improvement and high level communication
