**The Opportunity**

Our **Melton Centre** has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our incredible team on a permanent basis, up to 37.5 hours per week

As an integral part of the Mayfield team, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and educational environment for the children in our care.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring child safety & wellbeing using your active supervision skills.
- Collaborating with the team on age-appropriate curriculum implementation.
- Providing personalised attention, addressing unique learning styles and needs of the children in our care.
- Guiding behaviour through positive reinforcement for social and emotional development.
- Maintaining open communication with parents about a child's progress and concerns.
- Actively participating in team meetings for a cohesive approach to early childhood education.
- Fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere embracing diverse backgrounds in a culturally sensitive manner.

**You**
- You hold a minimum of a Certificate III in ECEC (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
- Valid WWCC.
- Child protection / Red Nose / Food Safety training (or willing to obtain).
- Working knowledge of NQF, EYLF & Child Safe Standards.
- Demonstrated passion for the Early Childhood sector.
- You enjoy communicating with, and building trusted relationships with children, their families and the wider community.
