**The Role**

Our Learning and Development Officers will be involved in analysing training needs, procuring or designing training programs, coordinating learning across a range of formats and modes, and evaluating the effectiveness of our training programs. ASD is looking for Learning & Development staff to work across a range of teams and build strong working relationships with colleagues in other areas in order to understand the needs of our stakeholders. To do this effectively, you will need to have demonstrated experience in prioritising competing demands whilst delivering quality outcomes, and thrive in a varied, fast-paced team environment. You will be able to draw your Learning and Development experience in either the government or private sector, to ensure our training programs are effective and efficient.

This recruitment activity is to fill several existing vacancies across the ASD 4-5 levels in the following areas, and to establish a merit pool for future Learning & Development vacancies.

**About our Team**
Our Organisational Development teams liaise with teams and managers within the organisation to identify training needs, and either procure or develop programs to meet these needs. In the coming several years ASD’s REDSPICE Program goal of significant growth creates significant need for Learning & Development to ensure our people are well positioned to meet our ambitious organisational goals. It is an exciting time to join the team responsible for developing this growing workforce.
- Work collaboratively in a team-based environment actively participating in and contributing to team meetings and exchange information to support the work area and team objectives.
- Build and sustain relationships with stakeholders and contribute to the maintenance of a strong customer focus.
- Facilitate, coordinate and/or administer a range of learning and development activities.
- Have well developed interpersonal and administrative skills, a strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritise your work efficiently, and the ability to work effectively to timeframes.
