The ability to attract new trials and to establish a broad range of cutting-edge sponsored and investigator-led studies and investigating a variety of new therapies in a timely manner has led to the success of the Unit.

**About The Role**

There is an opportunity for an experienced Clinical Trials Data and Finance Assistant to join the Monash Children’s Clinical Trial Centre at Monash Childrens Hospital.

This role will efficiently oversee the financial management of the incoming and outgoing invoices relevant to the running of the Monash Children’s Hospital Clinical Trials Unit and the multiple studies active within the unit.

Under supervision, the incumbent will be responsible for:

- Ensure invoices are raised, paid and reconciled according to each clinical trial research agreement.
- Organization in performing assigned work including, but not limited to, timeliness, neatness and success in managing multiple tasks
- Assist with data entry
- Assist with study budget negotiations and the establishment of clinical trial agreements

**About You**

You have a high level of attention to detail, multitasking and prioritisation skills, communication skills, and following Good Clinical Practise. You are motivated with a can-do attitude and strong work ethic. You enjoy working in a busy and fast paced environment.

This role is based at Monash Children’s Hospital in Clayton, and is a fixed term (until August 4th, 2024), part time position (22.8 hrs per fortnight).

- Demonstrated skills and experience in finance
- High level communication skills and experience in clinical trials
- Demonstrated experience as indicated in position description
- Australian working rights
