**Description**:
Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic part-time paralegal to support the Legal and Governance Team of HCA.

The key responsibilities of the position include updating and maintaining legal, corporate, and governance registers/records, providing comprehensive and high-quality administrative support, including projects and related tasks, and supporting HCA in meeting internal governance and external reporting requirements.

The position is available part-time (2-3 days a week) or casual based in Melbourne (close to Melbourne Central station).

**Skills and Experiences**:
**About You**:

- Enrolment in tertiary law studies (students in their penultimate or final year of studies are encouraged to apply) OR formal qualifications in Administration or related and/or equivalent experience
- Experience in providing administrative and legal support
- Demonstrated high-level prioritising, administrative and time management capabilities which include strong problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated high-level competencies in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint and a willingness to learn and use other software programs
- Experience dealing with sensitive and confidential information
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to manage conflicting priorities and high work volumes without affecting the quality of service delivery.

Desirable
- Strong knowledge and experience in the social housing sector
