The City of Perth is an ambitious Local Government.

We are constantly creating opportunities to bring our state’s capital city to life. We are seeking a Citizenship Officer to create memorable civic and ceremonial functions on behalf of the City.

Reporting to the Executive Services Coordinator, this position will support the City by:

- Managing the citizenship process and providing support for civic and ceremonial functions, including assisting with event operation and management
- Coordinating small scale civic and ceremonial receptions and functions
- Project managing the creative development and delivery of City events, in particular launch events of campaigns and state events

You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write clearly and accurately and present effectively and confidently.

A demonstrated ability to work in a team environment within a high pressure, fast paced environment is essential and a sound knowledge and understanding of protocols relating to local government is preferred, but not essential.

Above all, you will live our values of commitment, teamwork, courage and respect that allow us to come together to lead and support the community.
