**Introduction**:
Dymocks Children's Charities (DCC) is an Australia - wide, tax-deductible charity, established in 2000, providing brand new books of choice to pre-primary and primary school age children in priority locations. Our mission is to promote a love of reading and improve literacy outcomes for all Australian children.

We provide literacy support programs and work with teachers, carers, and community centres to provide an environment where the benefits of reading are clear and there are the tools available to help more kids read.

**Description**:
Reporting to the DCC General Manager your primary duties will include:
Program Delivery

Manage the delivery of all existing DCC programs including Book Bank, Library Regeneration and Read At Home
Manage the conditional donation process
Effectively plan, prepare and execute all programs, ensuring timescales are achieved
Produce ongoing and ad-hoc reports on DCC programs / KPI metrics

Management

Train and manage Program Coordinator
Communicate and manage team projects

Communications

Contribute to monthly newsletter to a high standard, liaising with the Digital Marketing and Communications Officer to achieve deadlines
Obtain photos with media permission from program recipients to be used in future communications and marketing
Effectively communicate with program beneficiaries, benefactors, and publishers to ensure timely delivery of all programs

Program Development

Develop action plans for the improvement of program efficiencies, including scalability and automation
Identify and develop new program ideas in line with DCC vision and mission
Perform cost analysis of new programs to ensure feasibility

Relationship Management

Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners & stakeholders
In all interactions with partners, strongly and positively promote the DCC brand and increase awareness of our mission and values

Strategy

Work closely with the General Manager to develop the ‘bottom 25% by 2025’ strategy.
Analyse ACARA data and identify program need across Australia

Administration

Record and management of beneficiaries/ program related admin in all electronic systems, including Salesforce, SharePoint etc.
Compile program report and metrics for quarterly board report and meetings
Manage all administration including banking & reconciliation, cost allocation and other tasks as agreed with the General Manager

**Skills and Experiences**:
**The Successful Applicant will have**:
Experience in the not for profit space and passionate about literacy and helping people
2 + years in a similar programs delivery role
Experience in Project or Program Management ideally related to not for profit
Proven track record of successfully managing program budgets, contracts, and reporting
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
A self-starter with a 'can-do', positive attitude
Excellent organisational and time management skills
A collaborative team player
