**The role**

The Manager Communications and Engagement is responsible for leading, managing and enhancing the effectiveness of Gippsland Water’s communication and engagement with customers and community across multiple internal and external channels.

A key deliverable is the development of effective customer and community engagement plans that increase trust in Gippsland Water, its services and the value it delivers for customers, communities and employees.

**What you’ll bring**
- Experience in a similar role with advanced knowledge of corporate and community engagement practices
- Relevant qualifications such as a Degree and/or Masters
- Strong experience in leading and developing a team
- Extensive senior leadership experience in planning and managing communication strategies and programs
- Proven ability in designing and leading public participation programs
- Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
