**The Role**

ALS Water’s modern new facility in Hume, Canberra is equipped with the latest in analytical technology. This is a full-time opportunity for a keen and capable Laboratory Technician to to join our client-focused team in a Mon-Fri day shift role.

**The Day to Day**
- Sample Preparation
- Analysis of Water and Soils
- Interpretation and result entry into LIMS system
- Ensuring quality of work is maintained in accordance with Quality Work Instructions
- Meeting turn-around requirements
- Preparing and running metals samples (ICP-MS, ICP-OES)

**The Essentials**
- Experience in a client-focused environment - ideally with commercial laboratory exposure
- Effective written and verbal communications.
- Well-organised, task-focused with attention to detail
- Strong team player who can also work autonomously and with initiative
- A clear understanding of HSE principles and practice and commitment to safe working
