**The Opportunity**:
Due to internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Coordinator to join the Service Department at our Tomago Branch. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this crucial position will be responsible for coordinating, managing & scheduling all field service activities in line with Komatsu standards, policies & procedures. This includes co-ordination of our incredible Technicians, Parts, Contractors & all other relevant parties involved in each job.

As a Field Service Coordinator at Komatsu Forklifts you'll be supported not just professionally but personally too. We also provide a phone and uniforms/PPE for you.

**In this role you'll**:

- Manage technician hours to minimise lost time
- Support Field Service Supervisor in the coordination of work in progress jobs, ensuring invoicing is accurate and any potential disputes are resolved prior to invoicing
- Maintain Warranty Work in Progress and Field Campaigns to ensure 100% of warranty jobs are successfully claimed by achieving all warranty claim KPI measures
- Update customers on job progress and notify customers of any changes to the delivery date of products or services.
- Recognise gaps in training & advise accordingly
- Maintain Work in Progress jobs under 30 days
- Ensure all service department activities meet Golden Rules & HSE standards

**The knowledge, skills and abilities we’re looking for**:

- Proven experience in a similar coordinators role
- Exposure to earth moving/forklifts service industry (nice to have)
- This role is well suited for someone from automotive industry looking for a change (Service Manager / Advisor roles)
- Availability for afterhours calls
- Customer service oriented and communication driven.
