**Deputy CFO**

We are currently seeking for a Deputy CFO to join our finance team here at Aon.

As a Deputy CFO, you will work closely with the CFO Australia to drive value-added reporting and business partnering excellence. You will play an integral role partnering and being an advisor to the business leaders and executive teams to enable them to better run their businesses.

**What the day will look like**
- Lead the Forecasting & Budgeting process
- Provide timely, accurate and relevant fact-based financial information & commercial insights via value-added reporting
- Continuously develop and implement key performance measures, trend analyses and other operational insights to improve transparency
- Challenge business partners to fully understand risks and opportunities and strive to optimize performance
- Fully contribute to the commercial development of the business, working with the senior management team, external third parties and other stakeholders as appropriate
- Critically appraise all CBA’s relating to acquisitions, disposals, capital investments and business development proposals
- Guide and influence effective strategy formulation
- Lead a program of continuous improvement across financial reporting and analysis systems and processes.
- Collaborate with Controllership to ensure effective working capital management and compliance with accounting standards
- Develop and lead a high performing FP&A team.

- Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem solving skills
- Ability to perform complex financial analyses (including CBAs and investments) and build financial models
- Strong financial acumen, combined with a solid basis of technical accounting knowledge
- The ability to think commercially, understand business drivers, provide insights and tell the story behind the numbers
- An eagerness to learn and a passion for improving processes
- Ability to use financial IT systems to efficiently deliver service
