Cabinet and Parliamentary Services Officer

**Key responsibilities of this role**: - Provide assistance to the Assistant CLLO and Director, Cabinet and Executive Services through the provision of high-level specialist support of activities in relation to Cabinet and Parliamentary business. Coordinate other project work as directed by the Assistant CLLO and Director, Cabinet and Executive Services. Maintain close liaison with key service area contacts to exchange feedback and provide guidance on the preparation of relevant documents including ensuring that Cabinet, Legislation, Parliamentary and other Government business processes are adhered to within specified timeframes. Liaise and negotiate with officers of other Government departments as required. Maintain knowledge of Government policies, procedures and processes when preparing Cabinet and Parliamentary business. Manage the secure storage, handling and dissemination of Cabinet and Executive Council documents in compliance with relevant guidelines. Provide assistance to the Assistant CLLO and Director, Cabinet and Executive Services in the implementation and ongoing management of systems and procedures such as Quality Assurance, Environmental Management Systems, Records Management and any other legislative or departmental requirements. All staff are responsible for identifying, managing and reporting risks relating to their work with DTATSIPCA.
