**A Day in the Life**:Medtronic has an exciting brand new opportunity for a Clinical Specialist to join our Aortic and Peripheral Vascular business (APVH) business in Perth, Western Australia. The Western Australia (WA) region is APVH fastest growing state in ANZ and this an opportunity to work as part of the WA clinical sales team to provide case support to customers to help accommodate the increase in case support demand.

The Aortic and Peripheral Vascular Health is one of the fastest-growing businesses within Medtronic. Peripheral and Endovenous therapies are a critical part of the Medtronic vascular portfolio, treating patients with a broad range of conditions, including Peripheral and Carotid Disease, End Stage Renal Disease, Peripheral Embolization, and Superficial and Deep Venous Disease. We lead the way in the Superficial Venous and Drug Coated Balloon markets, caring for hundreds of millions of patients globally with lifesaving and life-enhancing therapies

**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned**:

- Working as part of the WA sales team to achieve sales revenue and share targets, by providing case support and education on Medtronic products & services to key specialists and technical staff.
- Establish relationships and trust with all clinical stakeholders, acting as a Medtronic liaison and be the preferred partner for patient care.
- Understand the clinical and service needs of customers and provide highest level of clinical service and technical support to customers.
- Provide clinical case support in operating theatre mainly within hybrid vascular theatres and cardiac cath labs to ensure proper use of the technology and deployment steps of Medtronic products.
- Build an awareness and begin accessing key influencers, key hospital stakeholders and leverage relationships to execute on account strategies.
- Pro-actively working with the WA sales team to manage case coverage requirements.
- Support sales activities by assisting in presentations to healthcare professionals on related educational and training topics.
- Practice effective communication by feeding back information regarding commercial and clinical opportunities and intelligence to relevant marketing and other divisional staff.
- Consistently set and meet quarterly performance goals.
- Monitor field inventory effectively to ensure appropriate levels of inventory in each location relative to demand.
- Complete cycle counts of all required field locations on time and follow up on any missing stock.
- Retrieve all expiring product from field locations and return to the warehouse prior to expiry.

**Required Knowledge and Experience**:

- A Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma or a High School qualification with relevant years of experience.
- Experience in a clinical setting (eg in-theatre) or within the medical device industry
- Other experience in health/sports science background will be considered also.
- Good understanding of customer service and relationship building skills
- Willingness to travel and has a valid driver’s license.
