SGS is seeking a full-time generalist HR Advisor for a** 12-month parental leave cover with the possibility to extend.** This role will be primary working from home, with sporadic days in the office located in Notting Hill.
Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner, you will enjoy a true generalist position including but certainly not limited to the below:
- Provide full end to end HR generalist advice, with a passion for stakeholder engagement.
- Support managers and employees on a variety of ER issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints and grievances, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes in line with company policies and relevant legislation.
- Work within a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- HR policy review and development to reflect best practices and legislative requirements.
- Assist with the delivery of training and workshops to managers and employees on relevant HR policies, procedures, and legislative changes.
- Lead and support HR projects throughout the year aimed at improving processes, enhancing employee experience, and driving organizational effectiveness.
- Manage reporting and compliance activities with precision and expertise.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, or related field.
- 3-5 years demonstrated experience in a similar HR advisory role with a strong focus on ER and IR.
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, industrial awards, and Fair Work regulations.
- Previous Workday experience highly desirable
- Proven ability to effectively manage employee relations issues and resolve conflicts in a fair and equitable manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Enjoys working as part of a team environment that values collaboration.
