This boutique law firm are an established firm in Melbourne, with over 50 years of experience in Personal Injury.

They pride themselves on being a down-to-earth, friendly and progressive law firm dedicated to achieving exceptional results for their clients.

The firm are going through a period of significant growth and have a Legal Assistant vacancy in their office based in the Northern Suburbs.

**THE ROLE**

You can expect to support a Practice Manager within a specialised Personal Injury firm. Duties of this Patent Assistant will include (but are not limited to):

- Matter management including opening/closing files
- Drafting, preparation and filing of court documents
- Corresponding with defendant solicitors, clients, barristers and the Court
- Preparing briefs to Counsel
- Administrative tasks including arranging appointments, diary management and client management

**ABOUT YOU**

You will have strong communication skills and a high attention to detail. You are an intermediate to advanced user of MS Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and Excel skills and this will ensure you are able to hit the ground running in this busy role.

You have great client service skills, an ability to multi-task and have a thorough understanding of the litigation process and procedures.
