Establishing itself as an icon in Sydney's café scene since 2003, First Drop prides itself on the simple things in life. We are small family restaurant cafe based in Redfern serving great coffee, delicious cocktails and well thought out breakfast and lunch dishes to our patrons with a Mediterranean influence. We will also be launching dinners soon.

This year First Drop celebrates 20 years of being in business in Redfern. We have celebrated successes and overcome challenges remaining hopeful, joyous and inspired whilst becoming a favourite with locals and visitors from in and around Sydney.

The First Drop Cafe is looking for an experienced barista with great communication, interpersonal skills and vibrant personality to join the team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Looking for experienced barista to join our team.
- MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS both SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.
- Opening shifts starting at 6:30am.
- Minimum of 3 years in a similar position.
- Learning and following cafe procedures.
- Being able to handle between 5 to 8 kgs of coffee independantly and with a co
- barista.
- Must hold current RSA certificate
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment is an advantage
- With friendly and courteous attitude, good communication skills
- Knowledge of opening and closing procedures of a coffee machine.
- Some latte art skills (but not a must). Training will be provided.
- Rotating roster will include weekday and weekend work.

- Delivering exceptional customer service and perform do-attitude at all times.
- Using POS and cash handling
- Willing to assist teammates in all aspects of cafe life and therefore being a team player.

**Salary**: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
