Café Barista

The First Drop is expanding in Redfern and soon to be Marrickville and we need experienced baristas and all rounders who enjoy working in busy environments alongside a great team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Looking for experienced barista to join the team with a minimum of 2 years in a similar position.
• Must be available on a for 3 to 4 day a week: MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS both SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
• Learning and following cafe procedures.
• Being able to handle between 5 to 8 kgs of coffee independantly and with a co

- barista.

• Knowledge of opening and closing procedures of a coffee machine.
• Some latte art skills (but not a must). Training will be provided.
• Rotating roster will include weekday and weekend work.
• Opening shifts starting at 7:00am.
• Must hold current RSA certificate
• Experience working in a fastpaced environment is an advantage
• With friendly and courteous attitude, good communication skills
• Delivering exceptional customer service and perform doattitude at all times.
• Using POS and cash handling
• Willing to assist teammates in all aspects of cafe life and therefore being a team player.

MUST BE RELIABLE, HARD WORKING AND ALWAYS ON TIME.
