Customer Support Officer

Exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing ore testing technology company quickly becoming a must-have for mining companies around the globe.

**The Role**
A permanent, fulltime position available for a Customer Support Specialist for a growing company providing technology for the global gold exploration and mining industry. This is a position for someone with previous customer service experience, ideally related to mineral exploration, mining or minerals testing who understands the market and can talk about this to clients.

We are looking for individuals to perform the following:

- Process and proactively manage sales orders
- Assist in the preparation of client quotations and contract management
- Arranging product training and be the point of contact between the clients and in-house training specialists
- Answering, directing and resolving customer queries
- Entry and monitoring of data in reporting and CRM systems
- Assist with the coordination of events and conferences
- Other duties as required

**Skills and Experience**
- BSc in Chemistry, Cert IV in Lab Techniques, or similar qualifications, highly regarded
- Prior hands on experience in a minerals laboratory testing role, or providing customer support to a laboratory, highly regarded
- A passion for customer service with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage variable workflows, multi-task and be highly organized
