**The Role**
As an APS 5 Logistics Officer, you will be given the unique opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team to deliver Australian Defence Force systems that are at the leading edge of Defence capability.

Within the Logistics Support function, the APS 5 Logistics Officer is accountable under limited direction to undertake complex material logistics activities and tasks.

You will work within a framework of legislation, established principles, work practices and procedures in accordance with risk based decision and problem solving.

The Logistics Officer provides governance and assurance support to our industry partners and high level logistic data analysis to identify and mitigate logistic risks, issues and opportunities.

This role is the lead in developing logistic plans and ongoing capability success, and is responsible to lead and manage liaisons between ALSPO, 35 Squadron and our industry partners.

The Logistics Officer provides support, guidance and governance to internal and external stakeholders to ensure continued capability.

**About our Team**
Air Lift Systems Program Office is a sustainment SPO delivering air mobility capabilities to support combat, humanitarian, diplomatic and peace-keeping operations. Our platforms and projects provide Air Mobility capability to Air Force and enhancing the RAAF's C-130 Hercules (RAAF Richmond) and C-27J Spartan (RAAF Amberley) aircraft.

Our team operates from RAAF Base Richmond NSW, the position has the responsibility of being customer and personnel centric and will be required to work predominately (3-4 days) in location.

You will need an ability to utilise logistic software packages, develop database queries, interpret data, make sound decisions and use judgement. In addition, clear and concise communication skills with the ability to liaise with various levels of stakeholders is essential.
