Full Job Description

Public Sector People (PSP) are currently seeking a Digital Communications Officer to join a well-known and rewarding NSW Government organisation on a 6 month contract.
- Immediate State
- Western Sydney Location
- 6 month contract
- $45 - $53 p/h + Super (Depending on experience)
- Hybrid working arrangement
- 35 hrs per week Monday - Friday
- Experience in a Digital Communications role essential

The main focus for this role would be updating the website and maintaining the web communications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage content on websites and digital channels
- Maintain editorial quality and ensure content delivers the highest impact on all platforms - desktop, tablet and mobile
- Assisting with content creation
- Assist with the development of the organisations online presence, particularly in regard to improving the customer’s journey, targeted online campaigns, and SEO
- Manage and track workload and prioritisation of tasks
- Implementing the strategic digital communications plan for the organisations services, projects, products and issues, including, but not limited to, the development of correspondence, digital content, photography and promotional collateral
- Liaise with 3rd party agencies and stakeholders to deliver strategic digital communications programs
- Managing the website content management system

About you:

- Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience in website content management systems is essential
- Experience working for an online publisher or in a similar role
- Government experience desirable but not essential
- Well-developed interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be fully vaccinated
