Panthers Penrith has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced marketing communications professional to join their vibrant, fast-paced Marketing Department.

Panthers Group is one of Australia's largest entertainment groups with 5 venues across NSW, ownership of the mighty Penrith Panthers NRL team as well as the new Pullman Sydney Penrith Hotel and Western Sydney Conference Centre.


Located in the heart of Penrith, across the road from
Panthers Stadium, Panthers Penrith is your world of entertainment, boasting 11 restaurants, 8 bars, multiple functions, meeting and event rooms, including EVAN Theatre, our world-class 900 seat theatre that attracts International and Australian music artists.


We're also home to a myriad of fun and games such as Timezone Arcade as well as Aqua Golf, the adrenalin pumping iFLY Indoor Skydiving and Cables Wake Boarding Park.

About the Role:

Panthers have an exciting opportunity for a motivated marketing communications professional to join our fast-paced Marketing Department.

Based at our Penrith Club, your attention to detail will be superior and your written and verbal communication skills will be your greatest assets.

Your creative, positive, can-do approach will be infectious and you will think outside of the square to deliver a fun and entertaining brand personality to the over 120,000 membership base and wider communities.

This role will entail channeling a variety of marketing platforms including digital, social media and traditional methods to promote our great Club.

While this job is primarily a Monday

  • Friday role, you may be required to work on special event days and busy weekends.

In this role, you will be required to undertake the following duties:

  • Develop and coordinate marketing communications for Panthers licensed venues, entertainment;
  • Develop and coordinate marketing campaigns with a strong focus on digital and social media channels;
  • Develop and coordinate writing, scheduling, execution and reporting of all customer relationship management (CRM) tactics for the Club;
  • Create and maintain an integrated communication voice through copywriting across advertisements, publication editorial, websites, social media and digital mediums;
  • Support the marketing team by overseeing the delivery of all advertising and internal marketing messaging to ensure highquality deliverables with accuracy;
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of communication initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement;
  • Coordinate media for venues including writing release and stimulating editorial;
  • Assist in capturing and resharing user generated content (UGC) for our social media platforms;
  • Assist Marketing team to coordinate and execute content film/photo shoots and events;
  • Assist with other marketing projects and daytoday tasks.

To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Marketing Communications;
  • Experience in digital and social marketing to include strategic and creative development,, community engagement and content production;
  • Previous experience and thorough understanding of social media platforms
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and/or Communications;
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral;
  • Ability to multitask, achieve deadlines and create and adhere to schedules and;
  • Outstanding organisational skills, attention to detail and a positive cando attitude.
