**BIM Services Coordinator, Air Conditioning and Mechanical Building Services**

Our client is at the forefront of the construction and engineering industries in Australia, leveraging innovative Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) technologies to deliver Bluechip Australian projects. Right now, the National VDC team is going through a significant growth period, and we are partnered in a targeted recruitment drive to expand their national group and secure the industries best talent to join the 60 + strong national VDC team.

**_We are seeking a BIM Services Coordinator._**

**The Role;**
This role is responsible for the coordination of services and executing the transition of the Virtual Digital model into a fully constructed physical building.

This role would suit an individual who has a combined hybrid of experience across both site and the drawing office within the Mechanical Services and Airconditioning construction sector or in a similar role coordinating full MEP services both digitally and on site.

**Responsibilities;**
- Ensuring internal co-ordination of all MEP services
- Working with all stakeholders to ensure co-ordination activities are completed in a timely manner
- Provide buildability guidance of drafting & Modelling resources assigned to the Project
- Ensuring internal compliance across policy and procedure
- Ensuring adherence to the project BIM execution plan in alignment with the construction program
- Perform QA and auditing of construction documentation and shop drawings

**What we are looking for;**
- At least 8 + years industry related drafting experience; producing accurate and detailed technical drawings and plans (Building Services, Mechanical Services, Air-conditioning) highly desirable is experience gained within the HVAC contracting industry
- Demonstrated experience in a BIM coordination role where you have been responsible for the alignment of drafting services with the construction program, project plan and budget
- Ability to manage the process of BIM coordination and coordinate all stakeholders including other trades, engineering department, and drafting department
- Ability to identify and provide value engineering advice and guidance
