As Manager Data Analytics, you'll lead the development and delivery of advanced data services, such as data modelling, transformation, and business intelligence for the Planning Portal. You'll set standards for data tools, explore new technologies to enhance team efficiency, and oversee reporting to meet both current and future needs. Your responsibilities include guiding a team of data analyst and service providers, offering expert advice on major projects, and contributing to the strategic direction of the Planning Portal.
Managing a complex data environment with diverse stakeholders and competing priorities will be essential. You'll need to balance maintaining current services with implementing new initiatives, ensuring that the data warehouse is managed effectively to deliver outcomes for all levels of users—from planning officers to the minister’s office to provide data for insights and decision-making while supporting staff well-being and technological capability to manage the demand.
