**About the role**

Contribute to the provision of efficient cost effective high quality surgical pathology and cytology services within the Anatomical Pathology Directorate.

Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate medical education through teaching, in-service training, patient review and personal study.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent. Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.
- Appropriate Specialist qualifications for a Consultant, registerable as a Specialist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

**Essential Requirements**:

- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Working with Children Check
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
