**About the role**:
This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in our Head Office in North Ryde. You will be responsible for planning, forecasting, and executing demand and fulfillment requirements within a designated category, and ensuring sales, service levels, and inventory targets are achieved.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Forecast replenishment for all case goods and maintain ongoing stock
- Place and confirm orders with suppliers and ensure items are received within the predicted forecast
- Manage supplier's lead times, issues, and changes that occur within the order time frame
- Review and analyse case goods stock and replenishment
- Identify all potential demand events and forecast their impact
- Continuously improve processes and management for all case goods and promotional/seasonal ranges
- Work closely with the purchasing team to provide insights, information, and recommendations to support commercially sound future buying decisions
- Work together with the lounge Purchasing Manager to correctly forecast lounge stock
- Check lounge orders confirmed by suppliers and make corrections as needed
- Regularly report to management the status of case goods stock and forecast

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Experience in retail merchandise Planning and Analysis or Inventory Management. Furniture retail experience will be highly regarded
- Previous experience in the forecasting of events and ensuring that promotional plans are reflected within Financial Plans
- The ability to manage the in-stock position of all core SKUS and forecasting reorder units in a timely manner to maximise sales and profitability, preventing any out-of-stock situations
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills and the ability to work with competing deadlines
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, with strong communication skills and an ability to build effective relationships
- Strong Mandarin communication skills are highly advantageous to smoothly liaise with international suppliers
