We are seeking a hardworking and passionate **Venue Manager.**
We are looking for a leader who can motivate and encourage their team to drive guest service, fiscal performance and team engagement. You will be hands-on in your operational approach and be passionate about developing your career. _This is a key, career defining management role that sits within out Senior F&B Management team._
The Sports Bar at The Star is widely recognised as Sydney's #1 destination for sport's fans, it regularly hosts large scale sporting events as well as welcoming many sporting celebrities to join in the excitement with fans.
We have over 50 LCD TVs, a 34 square metre LED screen, six large projector screens and a venue capacity of 2000..
**About you**
- Extensive venue management experience in a high-volume, large & dynamic venue
- Experienced in leading a large and diverse team of Managers, Supervisors, Bar Attendants, Bar Porters and Cocktail Servers
- Understanding of RSA compliance obligations
- Extensive experience in large scale events and optimum stake holder management
- Proven business acumen and an understanding of P&L analysis
- Strong knowledge of beverage and bar/restaurant operations (highly regarded)
- Experienced with MS Office suite
**Reporting to the F&B Operations Manager, you will**:
- Lead and engage team members to continuously deliver exceptional service in line with The Star service culture
- Plan, communicate and execute large scale events
- Supervise the service flow and monitor the quality of food & beverage service standards
- Accountable for COGS, labour costs and business expenses
- Accountable for month and year end P&L reports
- Support the F&B operations manager in the development and implementation of business projects
- Monitor the F&B stock, controlling costs, P&L and staffing levels
