**The Role**:
As the Technical Lead, you will provide technical leadership to the EDAS data engineering team and work with the BI Solution Architect, Testers, Business Analysts, Data Analysts, the Data Modeller and Project Manager.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading the strategy and resolution of highly complex challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas of Sunwater and delivering solutions that are long term, large-scale
- Conducting performance analysis and undertaking required optimisation to enhance user experience and system-wide performance
- Utilising Azure DevOps for CI-CD across all environments for fully automated deployments
- Preparing, maintaining, and reviewing technical documentation
- Working with EDAS project team members on the development of standards and frameworks to support automation architecture for the platform
- Maintaining knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommending innovations that enhance operations

**You will bring**:

- Bachelors degree in IT, Business, or related field
- 8 + years of Business Intelligence experience
- 4 + years of working with Azure technologies
- Strong database and Data Warehousing experience
- 3 + years of DAX expertise
- Hands on experience working with data mapping and fetching data from multiple sources
- Ability to demonstrate metadata driven development methodologies and automation frameworks
- Power BI data modelling, product development and visualisation
