About The Role

We seek an individual with demonstrated experience in accounting, treasury or a related role, preferably in an industrial or mining company. As Treasury Analyst, you will assist the senior treasury manager with global liquidity management and work with the treasury principals and head of treasury in the negotiation of group debt, bonding and leasing facilities.

**Additionally, the role will**:
Support, from a commercial aspect, new services development from scoping and design to development of appropriate business plans

Identify commercial opportunities

Understands corporate approval and governance processes and applies commercial principles

Encourage the team to remain alert to risks in the workplace and take an active role in managing those risks

Assist the broader team with management of the group’s financial risk exposures (FX, interest rates and commodities exposures if applicable) may include trade confirmation and settlement.

About You

You will have completed a tertiary degree in Finance or Accounting and have gained some relevant experience in a similar role, with extensive demonstrated experience using excel and financial modelling software.

You will have a strong numerical literacy and an understanding of global debt facilities, bonding and leasing including compliance, periodic and ad-hoc reporting. Ideally you will have working relationships with security trustee / bank agents and ratings agencies, or the demonstrated ability to build and maintain such relationships.
