In this role, you will:


Provide advice, information and support to clients and senior management in Treasury on intergovernmental agreements for complex issues relating to social policy, industry policy, program management, financial performance, and risk.

Prepare reports, submissions, briefing notes, commentary, presentations, and correspondence on complex policy and financial issues, often within tight timeframes.

Work with Treasury teams and other departments to support whole-of-government processes on housing, skills, health, disability, infrastructure, and a range of government-wide topics as needed.

Support budget planning, development and monitoring in accordance with economic and financial principles underpinning financial management in Queensland Government and the structure of the State's finances.

Develop positive working relationships and partnerships with clients and stakeholders on a range of issues.

What experience you will bring:

  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Broad policy and/or change management expertise.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience with financial budgeting and reporting.
  • An ability to work independently on complex, timesensitive tasks.
Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, however, relevant qualifications highly regarded.
