**Why your role matters**:
The Systems and Reporting Analyst supports the Manager, Systems and Reporting to manage and deliver the University’s enterprise-wide complaints case management system (CMS). The role supports easy access and a positive user experience when submitting complaints and reports and managing cases using the CMS.

The role also supports the Conduct & Integrity Office (CIO) by supporting efforts to ensure data security and accuracy; undertaking data analysis; preparing reports and dashboards; and providing process improvement and business analysis expertise. This role liaises and collaborates with all system users and the system developers in supporting the management of the CMS.

The Systems & Reporting Analyst reports to the Manager, System and Reporting and has no direct reports.

**Responsibilities**:
Level 6
- Understand the University’s complaint management, investigation and integrity regulatory framework, policies, and procedures to be able to configure the CMS to meet requirements and ensure solutions are fit for purpose and aligned with business requirements.
- Continuously analyse and update intake forms and workflows to meet user needs and the University’s compliance requirements.
- Manage the CMS license register, security roles, and systems configuration to ensure high quality data sharing arrangements are implemented according to university data and security policies.
- Manage the CMS to ensure ongoing high level data security, data integrity and efficiency in case management.
- Manage requests for changes to systems by analysing requirements and designing, developing, and implementing solutions with strong focus on stakeholder management.
- Provide business analysis support to identifying issues, improving business processes, developing wire fames, and supporting the lifecycle of business intelligence and software development.
- Support system management and implementation, including system testing and user training.
- Support the implementation of system patches and updates by undertaking testing.
- Develop reports (automated/ad hoc) based on end-user requirements using built-in reporting tools as well as external tools such as Power BI and SQL Server etc.

Level 7 (in addition to Level 6)
- Provide guidance, advice, and business analysis quality assurance.
- Investigate, analyse, and document business processes underlying the supporting systems.
- Proactively identify and document possible system improvement areas using gap analysis methodology.
- Manage regular reviews of supporting systems.
- Supervise and coordinate the patching of supporting system through enhancements and bug fixes.
- Development and maintenance of analytical and reporting solutions.
- Undertake complex data analysis and provide written and/or verbal reports on trends and strategic insights.

**Skills and Experience**
- Tertiary qualification with relevant experience in data analysis, business intelligence development or proven equivalent competency gained through a combination of education, training, or experience.
- Demonstrated experience in system management, implementation, training, and testing.
- Demonstrated experience in business and system process documentation.
- Demonstrated experience with using databases, data analysis software to interrogate datasets, undertake complex data analysis and produce data-driven reports.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Attention to detail with a methodical approach to work, ability to identify technical issues, contribute to business process improvements, and ability to clearly document progress and solutions using software.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and to adapt positively to shifting priorities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively to a diverse range of audiences.
