**About the role**

As the Production Technician you will be working with the assembly-related quality and regulatory requirements to achieve ISO 13485. You will also manage the inwards goods area, carrying out the required inspections and inventory management activities to maintain accurate inventory data. Further supporting activities shall include hardware testing, facility updates and process improvements.

**The Responsibilities and Duties (include but are not limited to)**
- Mechanical assembly of the XV scanner
- Manage the inwards goods process in line with QA requirements
- Inventory management responsibilities
- Hardware testing

**Who you are?**
- Strong demonstrable experience in mechanical assembly
- Understanding of QA process, preferably in medical or highly regulated industry
- Large assembly experience and an understanding of manual handling techniques
- Appetite to continue to learn and look for areas of improvement in the product, process and facility
- Tertiary qualified, preferably in an science-related discipline (e.g. sciences, engineering, etc).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience working in a regulated environment preferably the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Experience with OHS processes and procedures in a hazardous industrial environment.
- Forklift license would be an advantage but not necessary for the role
- A working knowledge of ISO 13485 &/or FDA 21 CFR 820 regulations. Other quality standards related to the essential principles/requirements is ideal
- Experience working at an ASX listed company is desired
- Knowledge of dangerous goods standards, and handling requirements
