**About the Role**

With the National Principal of People and Culture turning their attention to a unified national strategy, they are looking to recruit a skillful Human Resources Manager to oversee the Melbourne office HR functions.

Managing HR functions across the office, you will be responsible for:

- End-to-end recruitment (including contract preparation) and onboarding new starters
- Resource planning including identification of gaps in skills and requirements
- Idenfitication, tracking, and management of training and development requirements for employees
- Assisting in the development of policies and procedures
- Interpretation and implementation of national employement legislations and applicable Awards, benchmarking remuneration and employee benefits
- Overseeing and implementing employee review processes and performance management processes
- Maintenance and administration of employee records, human resources information system, and employee database
- Assisting in terminations, redundancies and exit interviews
- Generalist HR advice and support to employees and the company

Supported by both the National Principal of P&C, and the Finance Manager, this position will take the reins on day-to-day people management, stepping away from larger strategic and payroll functions.

**About you**

Ideal for a dedicated professional, this role would best suit an organised and empathetic HR Manager. The ideal background will have:

- Extensive experience in an all-round HR management position
- A degree in Human Resources Managerment / Business (HR)
- Previous experience in a large office environment (100+)
- Exposure to architecture, design, or engineering practices will be advantageous
- Personable and approachable communication style
- Exposure and knowledge of OH&S regulations
