- **We are looking for a Assistant Account Broker to join our clients team**

The Assistant Account Broker role involves providing direct support to three insurance brokers employed by our client. The primary objective of this position is to work collaboratively with the team to ensure the company promotes and serves the needs of its members through the provision of insurance services. As a crucial member of the client's insurance team, the Assistant Account Broker is responsible for building strong insurance relationships with both Member and non-Member customers.

They provide customized insurance solutions and offer assistance with claims to ensure their clients have peace of mind.

**Duties and responsibilities include**:

- Provide key account support to our client's brokers for the Far North Queensland Region, Proserpine, Wide Bay, and Brisbane districts.
- Maintain excellent communication and interaction between our client and insurance customers to retain the client base and deliver high-quality service to members.
- Assist brokers with timely renewals, endorsements, claims, and management of heavy workload/peak times.
- Provide broking service to new and existing customers, offering additional resources and holiday cover as required.
- Act as a conduit to help the broker resolve any issues related to the insurance customer interaction with our client, such as claims and credit control issues.
- Cross-sell additional products to existing customers and identify new business opportunities and distribution sources.

**We are looking for someone with**:

- Previous experience working in an insurance brokerage and knowledge of insurance policies, procedures and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to manage client accounts and tasks effectively
