About the RACGP
The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is the voice of general practitioners (GPs) in our growing cities and throughout rural and remote Australia. For more than 60 years, we’ve supported the backbone of Australia’s health system by setting the standards for education and practice and advocating for better health and wellbeing for all Australians.
We foster the future of general practice through our profession-led, community-based training model for the Australian General Practice Training Program and other training pathways. We train GPs to deliver quality, whole-person care to patients across Australia, support their ongoing professional development and provide a point of connection for GPs serving communities in every corner of the country.
About you
As our Strategic Account Manager, you’ll establish and convert a pipeline of prospects as well as developing new sponsorships to ensure a sustainable and significant revenue stream year on year. To thrive in this role, you’ll have:
significant experience in stakeholder management, marketing, consumer/member engagement; and the ability to work at both the strategic and operational level.
versatility to work with internal and external stakeholders important
proven experience in delivering sustainable revenue growth lines with strong ROI.
demonstrable relationship experience in developing strategic and multi-year partnerships.
experience in developing, delivering, and analysing integrated GTM initiatives and campaigns and working with and managing internal stakeholders/external agencies to deliver initiatives.
previous experience in securing event-based sponsorship desirable but not essential
a team player with the ability to problem solve
a good attention to detail when required
About the opportunity
Reporting to the Commercial Partnerships Manager, you’ll provide support and assistance with acquiring, retaining, and building on existing successful relationships for advertising and sponsorship of the RACGP member engagement activities. In addition, you’ll:
manage a portfolio of existing sponsors for RACGP events and activities.
build a pipeline to acquire and convert sponsorship prospects outside of existing networks aligned to the RACGP operating plan.
utilise moves management methodology to identify, qualify, engage, and close opportunities.
develop sponsorship proposals, update/final reports, and other marketing collateral deliverables.
work in consultation with internal stakeholders to identify sponsorship product and packages that deliver increased member value, sponsor value and revenue growth
