**About the role**

This role is located at St Gabriel School for children with special needs. The Coordinator is responsible for providing and overseeing programs for children with a disability aged 5 - 18 years in After School Care and Vacation Care.

This is a part time position, 27 hours per week working Monday to Friday between 12pm and 6pm during school term and 8am to 4pm during school holidays.

**Duties**
- As the Nominated Supervisor you will be leading staff in the provision of a high quality OSHC and Vacation Care service.
- You will be regularly evaluating the program to ensure it caters for the interests and needs of school age children and meets the requirements of the 'My Time - Our Place' Framework.
- Communicating with families about the program, policies and procedures as needed.
- When required become the Educational Leader within the service, providing guidance, and support to the team on best practice programming.
- Working on administrative tasks and efficient day to day operation of the service.

**Requirements**:

- Qualifications or in working in outside school hours care.
- Relevant experience working with children with additional /special needs will be highly regarded.
- Completion of the "Identify & Respond to Children and Young People at Risk" certificate.
- Current First Aid certification for educational settings incl. CPR certification, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- Working With Children and NDIS Worker checks
- NSW drivers License
