**What you'll be doing**
The position will provide Receptionist and Administration relief cover for staff on leave at Oral Health sites from Wollongong to Nowra, ISLHD.

**Talent Pool**
Applicants holding temporary visas with working rights may be considered for a temporary appointment up to the expiry date of their visa. However, this option is only available when no suitable applicant for a permanent appointment is identified.
A National Police Check (criminal history record check) is a requirement for all new appointments to NSW Health and will be undertaken on preferred applicants, with the informed consent of the applicant.
This role is a **Category A **role. Preferred applicants will be reviewed for compliance and required to maintain compliance with the screening, assessment and vaccination requirements, relevant to your position, as outlined in NSW Health policy directive on Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases.
**Selection Criteria**
- Demonstrated administrative experience preferable in a hospital/health care setting.
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft office, data entry and experience with using a patient administration system and/or clinical information system or similar.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate the work flow of clinicians, including waiting list management.
- Demonstrated ability to foster and maintain an efficient communication framework with clients, clinicians and other team members.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and with flexibility in a high demand area & aability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to problem solve, prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated superior oral and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Current NSW Drivers licence Class C and ability and willingness to travel for work purposes. This may involve driving relatively long distances within the Local Health District.
