**Position Overview**
The Office of the Mayor and Chief Executive Office (OMCEO) Support Office is accountable for the delivery of
high quality, efficient and effective administrative support functions to the Executive Business Partner, Mayor,
Elected Members and the Chief Executive Officer across a broad range of disciplines with a particular
emphasis on the provision of support to Office in carrying out its function to provide strategic direction,
governance and support to the Elected Body, community and the administration of Council.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Administration**
- Provide a range of high quality and at times complex administration support activities to the OMCEO in
compliance with legislative and policy requirements, documented processes and Council’s
organisational values and objectives.
- Provide general administrative assistance to the Executive Business Partner, Mayor, Elected Members,
CEO, Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and other areas of the organisation where necessary including
maintenance, scheduling and booking itineraries, filing, purchase order and financial transaction
processing, website content management in line with processes and guidelines.
- Provide administrative support to the Sister City Advisory Committee including the preparation and
distribution of agendas, minutes, meeting operations and action items as necessary.
- Participate in a culture of continuous improvement with a commitment to high quality service delivery
and improvement activity.
- Deliver accurate and timely recording, retrieving and actioning of documents in Council’s information
management system.
relevant data, information, and analytics to ensure consistent delivery, recording and monitoring of
outputs and activities.
- Ensure a consistently high-quality customer experience through responsive support to customer requests
as it relates to OMCEO and Council functions.
- Assist in research and collation on various matters for the purposes of reports, training and development,
policy and or process development or other specific project tasks.
- Navigate and deal with highly sensitive and strictly confidential matters through adherence to Councill’s
confidentiality obligations.
- Actively participate in a collaborative team environment to maintain an encouraging, supportive and
dynamic work environment.

agendas and the taking of minutes for internal me
