**We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our team Engineering Practice**

As the Engineering Manager for Core Services, you’ll be responsible for, providing guidance and technical leadership both in-house and integrated vendor solutions. This includes uplifting team’s technical skills, maintaining high standards, and driving best practices and development principles to achieve successful outcomes based on your technical hands-on experiences. The Engineering Manager also collaborates with other Practice Leaders within Cuscal to ensure alignment with the company's strategic objectives.

In this role you will be responsible for:

- Investigating, recommend and shape strategic tools and technologies and drive the adoption of these new technologies and tools to improve processes, boost productivity, and reduce costs.
- Ensuring that the most appropriate toolkits are readily available to facilitate efficient delivery and operational support.
- Leverage your technical skills and experiences to set standards and practice, educate and guide others on the use of the tools available in a DevOps approach to the delivery and deployment of software.
- Encouraging a culture of innovation, empowerment, and agility, provide clear processes and tool access for engineers to support the rapid prototyping of product ideas and features.
- Monitoring and generate reports on the health, capacity, and performance of systems, leveraging metrics and other indicators to detect potential issues or areas that require improvement.
- Ensuring that engineers follow the lifecycle management strategies established by architects, and that they are appropriately maintained, managed, and regularly reviewed throughout the entire lifecycle.
- Building and maintaining a cohesive team that works well together, fostering a culture of collaboration and communication, encouraging knowledge sharing, and providing opportunities for effective teamwork.

To be successful in this position you will have skills and experience in:

- 5+ years of experience in technology leadership within a hands-on DevOps environment.
- Technologies such as; Java, JEE, JDBC, Webservices (REST & SOAP), Micro-services, Spring Boot
- AWS technologies and associate services such as GitHub, Terraform etc.
- Deciding & initiating action (decision making).
- Driving and delivering results.
- Stakeholder engagement.
