- McConnell Dowell is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager, who would be responsible for the efficient and effective engineering management, based in NSW.- Career development and opportunities

**About the Role**
- A key member of our team, this position is required to support the delivery of projects through sound and compliant design and engineering management practices and solutions which drive positive safety, economic, program and risk outcomes.
- This is a hands-on role which requires the incumbent to be a clear and concise communicator who can build mutually respected relationships both internally and externally with our clients, consultants, designers, subcontractors etc.
- This role is responsible for carrying out the temporary works designs in accordance with the appropriate project or bid requirements.
- Being able to prepare engineering documentation and presentation material for the project is another key requirement of this role.

**About You**
- Chartered Engineer in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering with at least 10 years experience in the construction industry with significant exposure to design, costing, estimating and planning.
- Demonstrated capability in management of multi discipline engineering teams and in the development of innovative solutions to technical, complex issues.
- Manage own work performance and actively seek coaching, feedback, learning and development opportunities.
- Competent understanding of relevant Australian and international codes and standards, Safety in Design process and risk and contingency assessments
