**Information & Computer Technology (ICT) Support Officer**

**Permanent Full Time Opportunity**
**35 hour week with a rostered day off each month**
**Salary from $62,439.52 pa to $72,430.28 pa + 10.5% Superannuation**
**About the Role**
The ICT Support Officer is a role within the ICT Support team who provides professional Information and Computer Technology (ICT) services to internal customers by ensuring that ICT services are reliable, meeting business requirements and continuously improving. The ICT Support Officer role is the first point of contact for customers. This role will record and manage customer requests and incidents and provide immediate solutions or resolutions to the Customer’s request or incident.

**About You**
1. You'll be responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
2. You'll also be responsible for setting up user accounts and ensuring that all systems are working properly.
3. You'll be responsible for identifying the root cause of technical issues and finding ways to resolve them. This may require you to perform system tests and experiments to identify the cause of the problem.
4. You'll be responsible for providing technical advice and guidance to users of the system. This may include explaining technical concepts and providing tips and best practices for using the system.
5. You will be required to use ITSM tools to log and manage incidents, service requests and manage and track IT assets including Hardware and Software Inventory.
6. You'll be responsible for maintaining hardware and software systems, including conducting regular maintenance checks and updating systems when necessary.
7. You'll be responsible for managing user accounts and access control to ensure that only authorised users have access to the system.
8. You'll be responsible for documenting technical issues and solutions and reporting on system performance and usage.
9. You may be responsible for providing training to users on how to use the system, including providing training materials and conducting training sessions.
10.You'll be responsible for staying up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in technology, including new software and hardware systems, to ensure that the system is up-to-date and functioning at optimal levels.

**What you will need (Essential Criteria)**
1. Qualifications relevant to Information Technology or Demonstrated experience in an ICT support role is essential.
3. High level of communication skills and interpersonal skills.
4. Demonstrated service orientated approach to providing customer support with proven experience in taking responsibility for customer enquiries from initiation to resolution.
5. Knowledge and demonstrated experience in successfully supporting large ICT infrastructure environments including configuration, problem resolution, testing and support of hardware and software.
6. Knowledge of ICT security and data management requirements in a security conscious organisation.
7. Knowledge of service management principles and processes, in particular incident, problem and change management with experience using ICT service management tool.
8. Demonstrated ability to be adaptable within a dynamic environment, to work under fluctuating workloads, to meet agreed deadlines and to exercise initiative and judgement in setting priorities.
9. Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence.
