The Centre
We are excited to welcome you to our team at Flinders Street Childcare Centre As a 38 place centre located in the heart of Adelaide’s CBD, we are committed to providing amazing experiences for children to learn and play.
We are an indoor centre meaning we have the outdoor environment is simulated indoors with sandpits, climbing frames, tree houses and plants set up over both floors. Our nursery room is on the ground floor and toddler and kindergarten on the first floor. Upstairs is a multi-age space where children from 2-6 learn and play together. We have an extensive out and about program. We take 2 8 seater prams around the CBD for children to get out into their community and explore there environments. We go to the central markets, Victoria square, the library, Rundle Mall, the play ground, the museum and more.
We pride ourselves on our innovative programs, including our Food and Nutrition Program, Joy of Reading Program, and upcoming Ella program. These initiatives help to enrich the lives of our children and foster a love of learning.

The Opportunity
Working closely with your fellow Educators and Centre Manager, you will enjoy;
Developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.

Developing and implementing an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice.

Documenting and sharing with families in their children’s learning and development.

Actively contributing to the implementation and adoption of the Guardian Curriculum.

Professional learning and development programs, career pathways, and a truly collaborative and inclusive learning environment.

**To be considered, you will have**:
A completed Diploma in Children’s Services (or working towards)

Prior experience in long day-care

Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF

Current Working with Children’s Check.
