**The Opportunity**

Join a leading institution at the forefront of technology and digital innovation We are seeking a talented and dynamic individual to take on the role of Program Manager within the Technology and Digital Services directorate.

As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and closing various cyber security projects aligned with their business objectives. From COTS projects to risk remediation and security process improvement initiatives, you will drive the successful implementation of key initiatives. Your keen eye for detail will enable you to identify the right technical and management resources needed to meet project objectives within scope and budget.

Working within the Technology and Digital Services (TDS) team, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the university to produce outstanding project deliverables. Reporting to the Associate Director Digital Operations, you will receive guidance, performance management, and mentoring support while being accountable to the agreed Steering Committees for your initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a project and/or program manager in a technology-rich environment, leading cross-functional teams.
- Proven success in managing cyber security projects using industry standards, tools, and techniques in complex environments.
- Strong analytical skills to analyse complex business processes, identify issues, and drive process improvements.
- Familiarity with cyber security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27000, ISACA, Essential 8, PSPF, and NSW Cyber Security Policy.
- Ability to thrive in a complex environment, managing multiple security projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
- Exceptional interpersonal and consulting skills, adept at collaborating and negotiating with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in change management and effective communication to support the delivery of a cyber security program.
- Experience in leading cyber security projects within a university environment will be an advantage.
- Recognised project management and cyber security qualifications (AIPM, PMI, PMP, PRINCE2, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) are desirable.
