**About the Opportunity**:
The Accelerator Support Technician - Electrical/Electronics, provides electro-technology expertise to ensure the safe, reliable and high performance of the 4 accelerators by supporting the maintenance and development team that ensures the facilities are in ready to use state for the accelerator research.

**Your Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Plan, organise and implement routine and unscheduled maintenance of plant and equipment, using technical expertise to diagnose, repair and return equipment back to service in a timely manner.
- Plan and execute improvements and upgrades to existing systems.
- Comply with all local electrical safety rules.
- Assist in the design, development and construction of prototype equipment and components.
- Utilise judgement to assess priorities of multiple work orders and consulting with the supervisor when necessary.
- Maintaining an inventory of crucial components and support instrumentation, to ensure that repairs and maintenance can be conducted on demand.
